‘Cornet’ unframed print

Description

‘Cornet’ is a signed, limited edition print, from a print run of 200.

The print is taken from a hand etched copperplate and uses high quality beige printing paper with black ink. The subject is a B flat cornet.
This print measures (framed) 19.7 x 24.9 cm.

I engrave by hand the image into a sheet of copper and after filling the indents with ink, I then run it through a small hand wound printing press. The high pressure of the roller forces the ink from the carved indents into the pre-soaked paper.
